College admissions

Simplifying the college entrance experience

Though 86% of America’s high school students expect to attend college, many lack the support and guidance they need to prepare for enrollment and college success. We believe college admissions should be a time of self-discovery and excitement, not anxiety and stress. We’re here to help our college-bound students take the guesswork out of postsecondary education.

What are College Admissions Services?

Our ultimate goal is to reduce anxiety throughout the transition process, focusing on what is best for the student and family. We help your family navigate the college admissions process by matching your student’s abilities, goals, and needs to specific schools to determine which options are best. We’ll take financial, academic, and community fit into account when recommending schools.

We use extensive and current knowledge to open up new opportunities for your student and help you explore all available options—even those you may have never heard about. We work one-on-one with prospective college students and their families to help them explore college options and navigate the college application process.

How Do College Admissions Services Work?

We pride ourselves on the level of care and attention to detail that we’re able to provide our students. Therefore, we work with only a handful of students, guiding them and their families through the entire process.

We begin by reviewing the student’s grades, courses, extracurricular activities, volunteer opportunities, and work history. This allows us to provide recommendations that will help strengthen their applications.

We guide students through the college search process by first asking why they want to attend higher education. For example, what are their short- and long-term goals? We can also provide personality/professional assessments to help determine the course of study.

Once we determine that college really is their best route, we aid with college applications, schedule college tours (when possible), review college admission essays, and provide suggestions for improving the application.

Other services include:

  • Providing different college options and explaining details with families, guiding them to schools that have programs beneficial to the student.
  • Assisting with scholarship search and application completion. At times we walk families through the financial aid process.

We specialize in working with specific types of students such as homeschool, charter school, online, public, private, community college, transfer, adult learners, first-generation, athletes, artists, and students with learning differences.
